Linda's passion for painting emerged at a young age by painting scenes on her families red barn on the dairy farm she grew up on near Glencoe, MN. Her enthusiasm led her to receive a scholarship and attend the University of Minn. Before graduation she was crowned the
Princess Kay of the Milky Way in 1966. The Minn. states dairy princess and spent a year traveling the state of MN. At that time she also painted between appearances. She graduated from the University with a degree in Art. The urge to travel took her to
Lake Tahoe where she painted with
Madaline Bohanan and

Linda's work has been featured in the Minneapolis Tribune and Key West Magazine. Linda has exhibited her artwork in galleries, restaurants and hospitals. Exhibits have been at Lake Gallery, Lake Minnetonka, MN, 1970, Lakeside Gallery, Incline Village, Racquet Club, I.V. Incline Community Hospital, Hilltop Restaurant, Truckee, Ca, and Truckee Hospital, Truckee, North Tahoe Arts Center and Frames by Ryrie, Tahoe City, the Cliff Lodge, Snowbird Utah, Tuck Box, Snowbird and Park City, Utah. Also the Wild West Casino, Deadwood, S.D., Pony Hills Coffee Shop, Deadwood. Lead Arts Council, Blue Dog Gallery, and Purple Door Gallery, Lead, SD. The Red Door Gallery, Green Parrot, Hemingway House, Capt. Tony’s, and Key West Ferry Terminal Building. She is a member of the Key West en Plain Artists, the Lead Arts Council, So. Dakota en Plain Air Artists, Black Hills Artist Association, and she was a founding member of the N.T.W.A. and S.A.N. at Lake Tahoe. Her paintings are in private collections all over the world. Recently, She is the artist in residence at The La Quinta Spa and Resort in La Quinta, Ca. Linda’s Art is spontaneous and unplanned.
